“Each one, teach one” is an African proverb that encourages sharing knowledge and skills with others. It emphasizes that everyone has something to teach and that learning is a reciprocal process.
Dwight Jackson demonstrates the meaning of this proverb daily. For decades, as the proprietor of Richardson’s Mortuary of Miami, Florida, he has shared (taught) his skills as a licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director with many of the community. These lessons are far-reaching beyond simply learning a skill. Serving humankind at the most vulnerable time teaches empathy and compassion to anyone who must serve a family at this time.

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime" The proverb suggests that teaching people how to do things for themselves is more worthwhile than doing those things for them repeatedly.
God is in the blessing business, and Dwight Jackson is definitely his foot soldier. Always providing opportunities for the youth of our communities, especially young men. So many have grown from boys to men with the guidance of Dwight Jackson. Dwight is known to support, beyond finances and the field. He is a father figure to many. A spiritually sound, gentle giant.
The Historic St. Agnes Episcopal Church is forever grateful for Dwight's advice and support. His thankfulness to God is evident in every expression of gratitude and worship that he shares with others. He worships at many churches and temples throughout his life's work, but he still calls St. Agnes a place of comfort, consolation - home.
“Thank you”, Dwight Jackson, for acknowledging and sharing God's love and care wherever you are.
“GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS”
